How can I start diving?
If you have never tried scuba diving or freediving before, your best option is to join the First Experience class. We will guide you through a 3-hour-long experience that includes theory and practice. If you like it, you may decide to take a full course and become an independent diver. Your certification will be recognized all around the world.
What does it mean to be fit for diving?
Participants must be at least 10 years old. You need to know how to swim and be in good health. We will ask you to take a mandatory medical questionnaire. Based on your answers, we may request a note from a doctor confirming that you can dive. Please let us know if you're taking prescription drugs, if you have asthma, high blood pressure, heart complications, COVID-19 complication or if you had a surgery in the past 12 months.
Can I dive if I wear glasses?
Yes. You can either use contact lenses, a dive mask with prescription lenses, or special stickers that you can put on the lower part of the mask. Masks with prescription lenses are not usually available for rent so if you prefer this option, you should bring your own mask.
Do I need to have my own gear?
No. Full diving equipment is included in the price of all our courses. If you're joining guided dives, you can rent full equipment or parts of the equipment from us.
Can I dive if I don't have a dive buddy?
Yes. We will organize the groups accordingly and make sure that everyone is covered.
Can beginners dive on shipwrecks?
Yes. After successfully completing the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, we can take you on a guided dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters. Some of the wrecks are safe for beginners and rest in this depth range. If you decide to join, you're up for a very exciting experience.
Is marine life dangerous?
Some underwater creatures such as sea urchins, fire worms, jellyfish may sting you. They will not attack you though. One of the rules that we teach all divers from the very beginning is to never touch anything underwater. If you follow this rule, you are safe.
Is it possible to dive all year?
Yes. The water temperature and the weather are fine all year. We will recommend the right setup for you to feel comfortable - wetsuit, shorty, hood, gloves, etc.
What is PADI eLearning?
PADI eLearning is an online educational platform with interactive multimedia content, including videos, quizzes and presentations. Divers can complete the theoretical part of their diving courses remotely, enabling them to spend more time in the water during practical training sessions.
